Recently I have started using Fiverr for some SEO on my Videography Business, and after spending approx 200 Euros in services across various sellers I found that trusting the rating system is a hit and miss. Many sellers had 5-star reviews from multiple users but when testing their SEO writing skills I found that they really lacked the English skills to write not only a text that will rank well for SEO but would also be readable, attractive and foremost turn readers into potential customers.
As in most cases, you get what you pay for. A 500 Word article on Fiverr will cost you approx 5 Euros so around 5.5 USD, so what can you really expect for this? Consider that in order for someone to write a good 500-word article, they need to first of all research the subject which in itself can take more than one hour and if you are pressed for time to achieve a minimum hourly salary you will need to do things quickly and therefore sloppy.
I am not saying that all gig’s on Fiver are low quality because that wouldn’t be true, you do however have to be prepared to spend some money to find sellers you can work with. It really is a hit and miss regardless of the rating system.
