Charlene Gallego was the wife of Gerald Gallego, Gerald Gallego had fantasies of kidnapping, raping and killing young girls. He eventually convinced Charlene to take part in his fantasy, she would lure the girls in to the trap which would then be raped, bludgeoned and shot to death. Gerald and Charlene where eventually captured when a bystander witnessing an abduction noticed their getaway car and noted the license plate number.
Imprisonment and Release:
Charlene received a lighter sentence in exchange for her testimony against Gerald Gallego. While Gerald received the death penalty, Charlene got 16 years and 8 months and was released in July of 1997. Charlene claims to have been a victim of Gerald and was forced to be part of his horrible killing spree. Upon her release Charlene legally changed her name. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
